If you have two kids, get this toy. Definitely worth the money ($35 on sale.) Our whole family has had an awesome time playing with these since we got them this afternoon for my sons (6 & 9). The guns have sensors (so you don't need any vests, etc.) with lights and sounds, and lots of different, easy-to-use buttons and modes to make it an exciting game of laser tag at home. I purchased the scopes, but so far we've only used the guns in the house and the scopes slowed down the guns' firing modes- more power therefore slower response time?- so we took them off. (The scopes don't have a cross-hairs or anything in the view finder, so I'd say skip the scopes unless you need the added distance when playing outside.)
Overall: every bit as much fun as advertised, which I find is rare in kids' toys. (I will say I can't imagine it would be as much fun to play solo, simply shooting at the target. I think you need two people trying to hit eachother to really enjoy it.)
