This toy fortune teller is awesome. There are not many on the market. It has a DEMO setting and a ON setting. The DEMO setting lets you press a button to hear 1 of 3 fortunes. The ON setting disables the button and tells you one of many fortunes that activate once you drop in a coin. You don't have to worry about what kind of coins you are using because the slot is pretty big. I'm living in Hong Kong and it accepts our coins here without any problem. The fortune teller is pretty goofy. The piece is pretty big as well, probably around 10 inches tall, I would guess. It's awesome. The trigger inside the coin slot looks a bit questionable in terms of durability, but I haven't had any problems yet. The crystal ball lights up and the voice is pretty clear. You can swap out the batteries which is pretty important. I would have preferred if the eyes and body moved and the fortune teller looked less cartoony, but it's a light-hearted product with family-friendly predictions. It's a novelty item and a gaggy one, but it's still pretty authentic feeling. I paid around 13 US bucks for it. Well worth it.
