Marvel Heroes Electronic Ball Blaster Review
I never write reviews. The fact that I am writing one now should tell you to what degree this product lacks any redeeming qualities. Took about 15 minutes to assemble partly due to the fact that the pieces are so hard to snap together that you feel like they're about to break. The gun takes several pumps to launch the ball, and since you're never really sure when it's going to actually shoot, aiming is very difficult if not impossible. Then there's the game itself. It's supposed to keep score via a pair of infrared sensors. One of them worked 3 times; the other one never did register a ball going through (Brand new Duracells installed). The interesting thing is that it comes with screws and wall anchors in case you want to drill holes in your wall to mount it. Thank God I never considered that. I suppose that since the gun is so inaccurate, it doesn't really matter if the scoring mechanism works or not, since there is only a very slight chance that a kid will ever be able to shoot a ball through one of the holes.
