Actually, I thought this would be kind of lame, but I ordered it because my son became fixated on it after he saw it in a catalog. When it got here, though, it turned out to be really fun. Even though you're picking up the "bullets" (think big bb's) through plastic, this thing is kind of a blast. You wouldn't guess it, but you can actually aim pretty well, and the gun shoots with an impressive amount of force. Way more fun than I expected. My wife and I probably played with it almost as much as the kids did. We still play it sometimes. The only downside is that sometimes you get a dud where the gun doesn't cause the bb's to go, and they just kind of drop instead of firing at the target. This never happens twice in a row, but it does happen sometimes.
